Black Rock Trial Lawyers Files Lawsuit Against Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa for Serious Slip-and-Fall Injuries

Tampa, Florida – Black Rock Trial Lawyers, PLLC has filed a civil lawsuit on behalf of its client, Stephanie Foster, against the Seminole Tribe of Florida, doing business as the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa, alleging negligence and unsafe conditions that resulted in serious personal injuries.

According to the Complaint filed in the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit in Hillsborough County, Ms. Foster was a guest at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel on March 31, 2024, when she encountered a dangerously wet and slippery condition inside the hotel’s spa facilities, specifically near the steam room.

The lawsuit alleges that the Defendant failed to properly maintain the premises, failed to inspect and correct hazardous conditions, and failed to warn guests of known dangers. As a result, Ms. Foster slipped and fell twice, sustaining significant and permanent injuries.

The Complaint further asserts that the hazardous condition was not an isolated incident, but rather a foreseeable and recurring risk inherent in the Defendant’s mode of operation, particularly due to the steam room environment and water accumulation in high-traffic areas.

“Businesses that invite the public onto their premises have a duty to ensure those premises are reasonably safe,” said Steven Capriati, counsel for Ms. Foster. “This case involves serious failures in basic safety practices that put patrons at risk.”

Ms. Foster seeks damages for bodily injury, pain and suffering, disability, medical expenses, and other losses resulting from the incident.
