Hector Gonzalez is Black Rock Trial Lawyers’ Litigation Paralegal. He was born in Puerto Rico but has been a resident of the Tampa area since 1991. He started in the legal profession as a Paralegal Specialist in the United States Army, where he served from 2009 to 2018 to include a year in Afghanistan. Hector has a Bachelor’s in Political Science from the University of South Florida and a Master’s in Global Affairs from the University of Oklahoma. Hector is also a Florida Registered Paralegal with the Florida Bar and is a Florida Notary. Among Hector’s contributions to the firm are aiding in setting the judicial precedent of allowing for punitive damages for cases of consumer discrimination brought before Federal courts. With his exceptional abilities in drafting, research, and responding to discovery, Hector is a valuable asset to the firm.
